People argue over Piers Morgan’s most recent post.

After Liz Truss’ departure, Piers Morgan has declared his readiness to run for office. The former Good Morning Britain anchor encouraged the politician to step down on Twitter only hours before Truss made her remarks.

Put your country before your pitiful attempt at self-preservation, @trussliz, and quit, he added. “You’re making Britain an absolute laughing stock.”

It’s over, “the 57-year-old proclaimed. With her resignation, Liz Truss will hold the record for the shortest tenure as prime minister of the United Kingdom. What a mess, absolutely a mess.

He went on to say, “These are serious times, and we need a serious and capable prime minister.”

The TalkTV host also made a suggestion to his followers that it might be time for him to run for prime minister by sharing an old photo of himself in front of 10 Downing Street.

The controversial media personality’s remarks caused users to express their opinions in different ways. One wrote: “If America can have [Donald Trump], then the UK can definitely have @piersmorgan,” while another added: “F*** it, how much worse can it get?”

Another commenter said: “Real leadership is needed, not bulls***. One more court jester is not necessary.
